Personal Opinion from a Newbie

Hey! For a while, I've been planning to viist this site as I used to play Pixie Hollow when I was really young. Along with another game I played, Toontown, it got shut down on the same day. I wanted to visit this one as it was the most accessible and well-known one. I have a few pros and cons I want to share.

Pros:

The amount of talents there are (not even the OG Pixie Hollow had those talents)

Customization Options are very high
There is already a dye system that the original Pixie Hollow had and it's better than the OG by a bit

New items found from international servers and made.

Friendly Community

Colorable Wings! (that's new)


Due to some workings, the stuff are free.

A fourmn that ranges from many subjects

You can check out the minigames and other things from the website

Pets are released quite early in comparison to other remakes

Cons:

The inability to delete 1.0 fairies (I just wanted to test out 1.0 tbh)

Pets are only limited to one color

No animation of the flying in comparison to the OG and 1.0 (try using a software, this is just a nitpick though)

No in-game minigames

Cannot click the faces, hair, etc on the customization, but can click the colors

The selections can be glitchy, I have to do the clothes one by one

The chat sound is annoying. I prefer the pop from the OG. I think a sound similar to that would help

Can't access some areas

No eye color dye (in the salon)

(not the staff's fault) Barely any people


Sure, the cons may outweigh the pros by a tad bit, that's my critique. I think this has AMAZING potential to be the remake for Pixie Hollow. When I visited the redos for Toontown and Club Penguin, there were barely any options and many core things took years. There are a few glitches and irks to work on but once it's worked on, I personally think it would be the best Pixie Hollow remake. Since this is the most popular one with the most options, it already is, but some tweaks and FairyABC would be at its best as the best remake of Pixie Hollow.


These is just my experience, I want this game to be at its best since I loved Pixie Hollow as a kid. There is lots of hope that this would be amazing.

I'm also curious on what dressup is. It's not accessible for me, but if it's private, I understand.

pets actually can have 2 colors, just that the shop itself is glitchy. what i do is pick my colors at the clothing dye shop, go to the pet shop and then select.
.yea, i kinda miss the flying animation too.
.people online vary by week, or if there's an event. and more events are done on 1.0 due to 2.0 maybe having a problem with 20 people online at once.

i'm mostly here for the fashion, kinda miss the sewing minigames though.

I also mostly came for the fashion too lol. Even when I was younger I came for the fashion, but like you said, I miss the minigames for sewing.

I miss all the minigames tbh.

Welcome welcome! This game is a work in progress and won't be a complete copy. They do.plan to add the famous fairy homes. There are areas that will land you in a never ending loop in both versions. The bonus meadows are pretty sweet! Unfortunately we can't delete in 1.0 but we can in 2.0. The devs have been absent but I'm sure they'll be back with news or updates! I do miss decorating in 2.0 and hope they fix the home shops. Hope you stick around!

I came here for nostalgia too, I played this game for HOURS when I was little, It's really cool to be able to experience this again!

Funny thing about our Animal Friends? Any 2021 and beyond fairy can recolour their Animal Friend by heading to Daisy's Dyes since their clothes won't save in their inventory, but try getting a new Animal Friend with a 2020 fairy and it's either the earthiest black possible or the coolest white no matter what you do. Still, I do really miss being able to decorate our homes and get furniture and recently, two fairies are stuck in at least one clothing item apiece, so all I can change anymore is the colour of said piece.
