The cicadas have finally emerged from hiding! Be ye excited or apprehensive, these cicadas only visit every 17th year, more or less and are a little smaller than the summer ones I saw two years ago. If you've seen them, this is the year. The next year for these cicadas will be 2038 and the cicadas stick around for up to three fortnights before returning to hiding, then the cycles repeats.
