I've been keen to write in strings of limericks, but we shall see!

The Fairy Feast is a wondrous time
To dine on victuals so sublime
With food this good
In this magical wood
Why deem it a dangerous crime?

Some verses sound of strung iamb
So jauntily like a lamb
Not too much haste
Lest increased waste
Leave this feast in a jam!

Huzzah, huzzah, there's no further need to fear
Hurrah, hurrah, for soon the feast will be here!

Now just along the path so green
One Gardener arrived to the scene
With bowl in hand
And matching demand
For the taste of pumpkin dreams.

Another in blue of the Soup Making Guild
Did call her Tinker sister to build
A silver spoon
With plenty of room
For many a bowl to fill.

The tiny Tinker, fast and strong
Asked, "What could possibly go so wrong?"
When out of the blue
And in it too
Came Kyra and Holly to tag along.

Now Kyra was a Baker, you see
The Hairdressing Animal Scout, Holly
Brought salt and pepper
What could be better
Than enjoying a jaunty pumpkin song?

Magnolia the Tinker worked
Amidst the funny quirks
From the silver that bent
To the leaves now rent
Two of a Tinker's perks.

Soon ten fairies grew ever so chummy
Working on a soup so yummy
With veggies and seasons
And other good reasons
To satisfy their tummies.

Aweigh, aweigh, 'tis time for all to sail
Hurray, hurray, we cannot possibly fail!

Now Onyx the Soup Chef stirred the soup
Among the nine others in the group
They swooped and swirled
These ten flying girls
All forming a busy troupe!

The tallest one named Lavender
Became the Tasting Ambassador
To rightly ensure
The soup be pure
Instead of tasting lackluster.

The onion was to go in first
Into the soup to be submersed
To give some flavour
Without a waiver
Before the onion dispersed.

A cup of sugar Magnolia got
To pour into the soup while hot
While normal sweet
And put into treats,
Would it still hit the spot?

It was Daylily's turn to add a thing
Like an autumnal orange pumkin
To avoid the splash,
She dared not dash
Lest success thus far be sunken.

The soup began to float in the air
With Hickory adding savoir-faire
To honing her skills
And giving some thrills
As Hickory hovered in midair.

Ginkgo joined for aerial fun
Under the warmth of the autumn sun
The faster she flew
The taller it grew,
The soup as it steadily spun.

For a while this plan went well,
Then back to the pot the soup sure fell
Because it cooled
Whilst in the spool
Still, it promised a taste so swell.

Pumpkin Soup is
Delectable you see, I
Bet it will taste good.

Working together
We make this pumpkin dream work
Ready the next step.

Add coconut milk
To thicken the soup to cream
Looks good, but press on.

Salt and pepper are
Added to the soup for taste
We're nigh ready now.

To feast upon the Pumpkin Soup
Is quite a lovely dream!
Be sure to share some with the troupe
And keep a pleasant scene.

I myself have tried the soup
And oh, what a beautiful thing!
We've taken wing
Now let us sing
Like one big, happy troupe!

So now I bid to all of you
A very grand adieu
We had a hand
Throughout the land
Of cooking soup so true

We've reached the end of this garland trail
A lovely ode of Pumpkin Soup
It had a very pleasant taste
No pumpkin soup made greater
I say unto thee it's time to sail
And bid good night to the troupe
Nary a moment spent in waste,
But for now, Fly with you later.

I think this was the most complex and maybe first iambic compound garland I'd ever written here. By the by, a compound garland in this case is a poem with different poem styles that don't always rhyme. Well, happy trails!
