Fly with you! Here are some flitterific and easy ideas for your own tree or to give to friends.

Basic Cardboard Ornaments

What you need: Paperboard, pictures, glue stick, a needle and thread

• If you're printing out images, print two of the picture you want for your ornament. Both should face opposite directions.
• Glue one image on the paperboard and carefully cut it out
• Glue the other image on the other side
• Carefully poke a hole with the needle (BE CAREFUL, needles can be sharp!)
• Thread a string through the hole and tie a loop knot
  

Bonus: A treetoper for mini Christmas trees!

• Glue both images on one side of the paperboard, you'll be cutting two seprate circles
• Create a paper tube and glue the cardboard circles to either side
  

I'm putting these cardboard ornaments on my mini Christmas tree. The images I used are 12 days of Chirstmas ornaments from Pixie Hollow.

Glitter Ball Ornaments

What you need: Empty glass ball ornament, floor wax and glitter

• Carfully remove the top of the glass ball and save it
• Pour a little bit of floor wax in the ball and be careful. A funnel helps.
• Scrunch up a paper towel and use it to cover the open slot. Shake the ornament up until it is all covered. Pour off the excess on another paper towel
• Pour a bit of glitter in and shake it up again
• Replace the top of the ornament. Feel free to decorate it with stickers if you want!
  

Present Ornaments

What you need: A foam block, wrapping paper, tape, ribbon and a paper clip

This one's easy. Wrap the block just like wrapping a normal present and tie a ribbon. Unfold a paper clip and poke it through the foam. This will be your hanger.

Plush Heart Ornaments

What you need: Scrap paper, pins, fabric, scissors, needles and thread, and cotton stuffing

• I like to draw a heart template on scrap paper (by folding the paper in half and drawing half a heart). Then I cut it out
• Pin the heart on a piece of fabric. BE CAREFUL as pins are sharp
• Cut out two identical hearts
• Pin the hearts down with the good sides visible. Sew them together leaving one space open for stuffing
• Stuff the heart and stitch the open side. Secure your stitch by tieing a loop knot.
  

Why not decorate your heart with buttons, ribbons or strips of other fabric? It doesn't even have to be a heart. It can be a teddy bear.
