Hey, guys! I'm back! This one isn't super fairy-related, but I thought it would fit here anyway. It originally had a different ending, but that ending didn't really fit this site's tone, so I used this one instead. I hope it still works. And as always, thanks for reading!

The Melody of Existance

Somewhere,long ago, I found

A song

Steeped long in shadow

And where I find that I’ve gone wrong

To end

in a Crescendo

And in the end before these days

I’ll stand alone as all else fades

And see alone to my own self

My Mortality

For Death is nothing to be feared

It comes only when you’re out of years

And leads you back-no need for tears-

Home

And then the song comes to a close

Another,then, begins to grow

Because of course the world’s aglow

At end times.

But only ends for you one day

For no one else, while you’re away

And know, for you, the world is saved

For it is stored

Safely.

So others keep on playing on

Their choruses, their sprightly songs

The melody, then, of it all

Is for us.

So for eternity, sing on

Because no note is written wrong

And hope is never truly gone

So never fade away.
