Art Style Challenge, Anyone?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but:
Since the Art Talent Month contest has been so fun and we have so many artistic people here, I’m wondering if anyone is up for a style contest! I saw a few on YouTube and they look like a great way to practice and experiment. So are you up for it?

If so, what time frame should we do? Should there be a contest or just showing? We could have one thread for all the entries. Should we pick 5 or so styles for everyone to try the same, or let everyone pick their own? Any other ideas?

i have suggestions?

1st column: personal style
2nd: old disney (2d stuff like cinderella and snow white:: also more proper and old fashion in dressing)
3rd: new disney (more 3d and modern like moana or rapunzel:: more let go and liberal in dressing)
4th: anime (i guess you could just choose a series)
5th: nickelodeon or cartoon network style?6th: MLP style (equestria girls) (cuz i love that style and want to try it out)

I LOVE these! I think they usually go as a chosen number of popular styles (adventure time, disney, gravity falls, etc.) and then the person's own style. Let me know when it starts I'll definitely participate!

Sounds like a great idea! I think we should have different categories and let everyone draw them with their own style

Like have a themed topic like "Marvel" and draw a character or a thing Marvel related but in our own art style

I like this idea too, though it’s not really an art style challenge — we should definitely do it sometime. It also raises an important question: if we have a topic that’s not fairy related, then it would have to go in off-topic category or something, right?

oh yea true, really any idea is great to participate in we could just a fairy-related topic but let everyone pick their own style but that's just my opinion. Anything you come up with is great!

I love Coraline, thoughts on that style? Maybe we should pool together a lot of specific ideas and vote
