The Queen Before Clarion - concept and art from @arianator

Hey everyone!


I just saw arianator's great post about the concept of how the Queen before Clarion might've looked like and well, I decided to lend a wing/hand with a backstory - or an entire adventure. I take no credit of course, everything that led up to this point is thanks to @arianator.

The *possible* story involving this past queen could be the following ( feel free to add in ideas, especially you supreme creator of all this - arianator ) :

Imagine what the three realms looked like....Once, coexisting together, but then each found a place of their own in this universe...Only some of the Mermaids are still among us today, to keep the good relations going...I can still remember the story of Queen Twillia, my mentor, a queen that ruled before the one before me did...Only, those closest to her knew her by another name - Twilla. She wore a stunning blue sparkly gown and her crown was far larger than the one I have today...And it was one of the things keeping our worlds from falling apart by the rulings of a wrong heir. Within the crown she owned there was a red jewel, something of great power, something that conatined magic as I know - magic that when used wrongly, disrupts the balance of the three realms: Our realm, the one of the Mermaids and the one of the Elves.
All the queen feared of had happened though, her crown one day was taken and so was its jewel. The crown grew dark as the jewel was poisoned with dark magic, and when she tried getting it back, it consumed her, almost to the point of no return...And, nobody thought another day of light and peace would come...But, they were wrong...Very wrong...
I need to get the book about this from the royal library in order to finish telling you the story now my apprentice. Until I return, remember this - never let your guard down, even for a friend.

Well, that was my idea - in a storytelling way by our current highness Queen Clarion herself! Let's develop this story together and help @arianator get a great story to go with her amazing Queen Twilla look! Everyone, even the previous Queen's creator is more than welcomed to help out!

I actually thought of a suggestion. Suppose Queen Twila was actually the queen who came up with a way for fairies to switch their wing look as many times as they like, as long as they have wings, or don't have broken wings. (So Rani, and Lord Milori could not do this) suppose she made special pixie dust or a potion for this but maybe during some violent storm it got lost and wasn't found till many many many years later.
