Meeting for the week of 7/27/17

This is a little late, but oh well! Anyway, this is the meeting for this week. We have planned quite a few arrival day parties already and I feel like we should do something else.
Some ideas I had: (Bold means top priority)
Merfairy pool party
Story night
Ingredient-collecting groups
End-of-Summer Sparkler (we could maybe team up with others to make this happen, and it could be held at the end of talent month*)





*I also think maybe something like a "talent month" would be cool, but not right now as it would need lots of planning.

These are great ideas!
I believe a story night could be held on maybe Saturday or maybe even tomorrow cause it sounds like a very cool idea! then possibly the merfairy pool party in about sometime in early august being it just seems like the perfect month for that to be in I don't know why.

Maybe on Saturdays we could have Saturday Story Times. As for the merfairy pool party, I agree that it should be hosted in August. We would host it in the ballroom, right? As for attire, we can agree that we should try to wear merfairy clothing, if you want I can make examples and sent them to you through PM.
We can host ingredient collectuon groups every other Sunday. I do not mind handling that, and someone else could also handle SST.
For talent month, we should have a representative for each of the main talents available.

Every Saturday is a lot of Story Times... maybe we could have them every other Saturday but alternating with the ingredient collection groups? Merfairy pool parties should definitely in August and have a dress code of merfairy attire only. There are plenty of different types of tail-like skirts in both Acorn Summit and Treetop Bend, and the tops in Acorn Summit. FOr the talent month, about representatives, it could be a little like Camp Pixie Dust and there could be a counselor for each main talent who helps us with events.

That seems pretty good. I can be a counselor for frost talents. Maybe there should be 2 counselors per main talent.

It will just depend on how many we can get. In the old Hollow, there were 3 counselors for Water and Garden, 2 for Animal and Light, and 1 for Tinker. I feel like every talent should have 3 because on here there are so many of each talent.

Maybe even in those months we can even held special events themed of that talent but every talent can join, and maybe who ever wins will receive a certificate? any maybe a few coins  or something like that haha and then participators will receive probably something too?

Maybe not certificates, but the talent events definitely will happen.

Remember the certificates Su made for Art contest winners? I could whip up a certificate, put it on a Google Drive, and share it with a winner.
I was also thinking we could make some sort of leaderboard status thing we could control privately. Weekly, we would announce events, celebrations, etc. and with them the talent rankings for that week. At the end of summer sparkler, we can finally announce the winning talent.

Well, it's not a competition like Camp Pixie Dust... it's more like talent-themed parties and gatherings.
