Elva, Mahogany and Lark at a party at Palm Tree Cove

- At a late summer event at the Cove, Mahogany and Lark joked around with the other Animal Talents and tried to enjoy the event without their missing piece. Elva said she would show, but it wasn't unheard of for the fairy to flake last minute. There were so many things for her to learn and explore that parties just weren't on the top of her list of priorities. Mahogany, however, was hopeful. Elva had been much more social as of late. After a few rounds of Simon Says, Lark bumped Mahogany’s shoulder. “Look what the wildcat dragged in…” Lark nodded to the distance. A zooming spirit of orange and white flew straight at them. “Elva!” Mahogany exclaimed. She dashed to her best friend and swooped her into a bear hug. Lark followed close behind and smiled. “Can’t…breathe!” Elva sputtered. “I missed you too, Mahogany…”. The two let go. “We’re so happy you’re here,” Mahogany smiled. Elva shrugged, “Wouldn’t miss it. I’ve picked petals allll afternoon for this outfit so I could fit the theme! Sorry I’m late…”. It was a big development for Elva to show in the big crowd, let alone stand out. Mahogany, in all her outlandishly extroverted glory, was proud as can be.
Mahogany grabbed her and Lark’s hands, herding them towards the larger group. “Come!” Elva and Lark followed, giving each other a look. Oh, what party games she had in store for them today…
