Lavender Peachgarden's First Anniversary: But Wait, There's More!

And finally, the last installment of the Lavender Peachgarden First Arrival Anniversary saga!

~Lavender eagerly awaited more surprises and her new friend Lotus came by with a special box that appeared to have wings on opposing sides, but said wings were actually tabs. Lavender wondered what such a box could hold. The box was sort of a gift box in a sense like oft used on the Mainland, except not everywhere there. Since only Belief Talents could visit the Mainland at a whim, they often visited exotic lands on the Mainland.

~Speaking of Belief Talents, Nene had just returned there with a box that looked a lot like the one Lotus made for Lavender. Prilla soon joined and explained that this was called a sanbo box, meant for special foods to be placed in for ceremonies.

~Lotus was quite curious about the rest of Pixie Hollow since she was never given a proper tour. Lavender decided to give the tour, but she needed someone that could speak faster than she and also hear quite well and preferably handle the cold and warmth at once, so who better to ask than…

~"Lavender, you do realise you'll need to pack something warm to wear if heading to the Winter Woods?" Hickory asked. "Also, Pearl can better frost wings than I now since she's had lots of practise."

~Lavender nodded faster than she could speak, then knew what to pack: her wintry zoot suit! She figured, better have something built for the cold and stylish at the same time, then wrapped Lotus in one of her warmest green blankets because that was where she wanted to head first. She even had Hickory join in as with Zalena, but first Zalena was dressed in her warmest outfit: a Ladybug Winter Wrap combined with a set of Buggy Bear Ears, both recoloured green to match Zalena. Now everyone that was touring was…

~"Yoo-hoo!" called Hickory. "Hope you don't mind, but Heidi warned us to avoid Summer Glade today because, elephantine amount of pollen today. Only the Dust Talents of all persuasions can work there today because they can't sneeze."

~Blueblitz joined the girls in her wintry garb, then the whole lot decided to head to the Winter Woods.

~After Pearl frosted all their wings, she warned everyone to be very careful when giving a tour because some of the pollen was flying here from Summer Glade. The tour was a pretty quick tour since Blueblitz and Zalena couldn't be in the cold long because they weren't endotherms. Everything was going smoothly until Zalena started rubbing her nose. Lavender suspected her dear ladybug was getting sick, so she told her friends on the tour that it was time to cease the tour for today since at this point they saw all of the Winter Woods.

~Although Zalena and Lavender were almost never sick, Lavender decided it safer to visit Elixa because she wanted to make sure Zalena had nothing serious. Elixa checked on Zalena and determined the cause for her symptoms: some of the pollen landed in Zalena's nostrils, so Elixa readied a special tea to heal Zalena's nose. On the Mainland ladybugs don't sneeze, but Elixa readied a leafkerchief for Zalena to sneeze in. It took ten sneezes, but the pollen was finally out and Zalena felt better! Still, the tea was necessary to ensure Zalena was well.

~After the sun was almost ready to set, all the excess pollen had been cleared away by the Dust Talents and planted elsewhere, said Dust Talents bathed off the pollen and the best part? The tour of the Hollow could finally be finished. Lotus enjoyed the tour and figured she would like the Hollow too. Lavender couldn't have asked for a better Arrival Anniversary adventure with a new friend as a bonus. Truly, what a wonderful way to end the adventure and the day.
