Fly with You! What I find to be very beautiful is what makes each of the months of the year unique. So I thought each month, I'd talk about what I find special about each month in Pixie Hollow (but a bit on the mainland as well) and what each month makes me think of. I am very late on January, but I just thought of this idea this month.
January is never really an eventful month for me. In Pixie Hollow, it was known for Art Month, a time when artsy outfits and decorations were sold in the shops. I remember really liking the hairstyles and outfits from 2013, such as the tye die outfit. I was also excited when hair highlights were added to the salon in 2012. The Pixie Post Office was also added then. There were famous fairies that would visit each year for Art Month. For 2010 it was Bess. For 2012 it was the postpixies. For 2013 it was Tink.
I also see January as a very cold month. One event idea I came up with in 2019 I think was the Winter Tea Party. It's basically the Garden Tea Party but in the Winter Woods. I could imagine iced tea and ice cream being served.
Another event idea I came up with is the Northern Lights Festival. In 2010, there was a quest series about creating the Northern Lights, which is a gift fairies bring to the mainland every year. Here are some badges I created back in 2018:
Oooh...Pixie Hollow began in January! The pre beta version began in January 2007. Back then, the actual game wasn't open, so all you could do was create a fairy, decorate her home and change her outfit.
Feel free to share your January Pixie Hollow memories in the comments.
