Last night I watched Balto again for the first time in years and it's based off a true story about Nome, Alaska's children being stricken with a deadly disease, so a team of sled dogs had to race from Nome to Nenana to get the medicine to combat this disease. It's a charming tale that shows that just because you aren't from a pure lineage doesn't mean you're any less useful so long as you have the drive to help. Anyone else seen this movie?
