Why I save my artworks and other pictures first

I am at the precipice of announcing this ad nauseam: the BBcodes recently stopped working on imgbb, ergo the reason I now have to re-upload art pieces I already uploaded via said BBcodes. I always save at least one copy per picture offline first so I can use it later in case something goes amiss. I even tried switching out a few images in my albums for smaller versions, even the ones with the same dimensions, but different formats, but that only gets one so far. I recommend first saving the images, then, whenever possible, saving any images you have either to albums or as attachments for now because just gathering the links from images found online can get a bit shaky after a while. For now, I'd be careful with BBcodes and other links from imgbb because, some sort of glitch or error on said site.
