I know this isn't exactly what you saw when you may have tried getting a printout of your fairy in 2.21, but the real glitch is far too PG-13 to show here, so I have a few methods you can try to fix said glitch.
1. Assuming you have a comparable result to what's shown above, open a picture-editing program.
1a. If you can't fine-tune in said program, consider downloading a legal copy of a program that can do the job.
1b. Once you have said legal application, open said application.
1c. Search for the glitched picture of your fairy in said application.
2. Check to see if you can edit in layers.
If you cannot edit in layers:
2.a.i. Carefully draw an outfit in a new tab or window for your fairy.
2.a.ii. Copy and paste in the first tab or window.
2.a.iii. Adjust to fit.
If undesired results:
2.a.iv. Carefully draw an outfit directly onto your fairy instead, but do not use the fill tool; it will only colour in splotches.
If desired results:
2.a.v. Save a copy of your newly dressed fairy and you're done!
If you can edit in layers and prefer to draw the outfit on:
2.b.i. Make at least one new transparent layer.
2.b.ii. Carefully draw an outfit on a separate layer that fits your fairy, adjusting as you go along.
2.b.iii. Save in the format native to the application, then as a .png, .gif or .jpg or other more universal image format. Just be aware that a .jpg won't be as transparent.
If you feel more comfortable copying and pasting:
2.c.i. Same as 2.b.i, but this time you'll need a new layer for each outfit piece.
2.c.ii. Erase away any excess surrounding the pieces, making sure to switch layers.
2.c.iii. Adjust to fit your fairy, making sure to line each piece so it looks like a perfect fit.
2.c.iv. Once satisfied, repeat the step listed in 2.b.iii: save first in the native format, then a more universal format. I reciommend a .png because, size and quality balance.
I hope these tips helped.
