Let's see where this winter takes us.
Ah, Winter, full of snow so whiteAnd decorations so bright Lo and behold Despite the cold Our hearts become alight.
I've often played in the snow And afterwards I see a slightly bluer glow As well as feel a sense of fun Even when playtime is done For a while, a whole new rainbow.
No wonder I enjoy a gloriously snowy day As Autumn unto Winter soon gives way But Winter in December A time to remember That cheerfulness in the air can lead to play.
I hope to see snow around Christmas this year Because that still fills me with cheer Tis the season And the reason That we should have petty qualms disappear.
Happy Christmas here and anon And reminisce of fun times bygone Ringing out a refrain Of fun candycanes From the last light of day until the next dawn.
Hope you enjoyed this poem!
