I HAVE NEVER WANTED TO DIE SO MUCH MORE THAN I DO RIGHT NOW IN MY LIFE EVER.
EVEEEEEEEEEEEEER.
Now, I myself do think education is important. BUT COME ON. I HAVE NOT EVEN BEEN BACK IN SCHOOL FOR A FULL MONTH YET AND I ALREADY HAVE TWO PRESENTATIONS TO DO, I'VE HAD 5 TESTS (I did good on them all, cause I'm smrt) AND HAVE A GYM CLASS THE ENTIRE YEAR.
ONE OF MY TEACHERS IS KNOWN FOR BEING EASY, BUT IF YOU DON'T TAKE NOTES YOU'LL FAIL NO MATTER WHAT. AND THIS GUY TALKS AND RAMBLES ON AND ON AND ON.
I HAVE TWO AP CLASSES (government and English) NEITHER HAVING MORE THAN 8 PEOPLE IN THE CLASS (I like this actually cause both classes are made up of people I actually like)
I HAVE ONE SUPER FANCY SMRT PERSON CLASS THAT IS ACTUALLY MUCH MORE DIFFICULT THAN I THOUGHT.
I HAVE TRIG THIS YEAR WITH A TEACHER WHO WANTS TO MAKE US WATCH 18+ MINUTE VIDEOS AND TAKE NOTES (she copies them sloppily with a stylus she says she can't even write with) AND IF WE DONT WE GET DETENTION. SHE'S EVEN SAID SHE WANTS US TO STRUGGLE IN HER CLASS. LIKE, GURL WHY.
MY CHEMISTRY CLASS MAKES ME WANT TO DIE, FOR MANY REASONS.
ILL EXPLAIN.
Ok, so basically my school schedule is not really that terrible. But, from where I'm in my junior year, its supposed to be the worst I could have. It goes as follows:
Advanced Math/Trigonometry 1st Period downstairs
CEA (Civil Engineering and Architecture) 2nd up two flights of stairs (it has its own level in the school building, otherwise there's only two levels, upstairs and downstairs)
Chemistry 3rd upstairs (so like, when i go from my first period up the first bit of stairs, its on that level)
Gym 4th, in the gymnasium, luckily on the same floor as my chem class
AP Government 5th downstairs
Lunch (YAAAAAAAAAAS KWEEEEN)
AP English 11 6th, upstairs (my locker is downstairs so i go down, then back up and am mega tired after)
Post World War 2 7th, downstairs.
So basically, my schedule doesnt really seem that bad. But trust me, its awful.
Like ive said, my trig teacher wants us to struggle.
CEA is super hard. The class I took before it had a teacher who just started teaching that subject so we did literally nothing. We're about to do our first of many presentations in this class. Wooooooo.
Chemistry is with someone who's just started teaching. Its not that they're bad, but they are actually a very intellectual person. Like, they're super smart so its hard for them to easily tell us what to do when we need to. The big problem is though, is that my chem class isnt in a chemistry lab. We have to switch classrooms with another teacher the days we do a lab (we've done on so far)
Gym is gym and I honestly actually like it. I know one person in there, and that's good enough. Plus the teacher is actually really nice and tells me good job all the time, so that helps a lot. ^.^
AP Gov is easy too, but you have to read a lot and teach yourself a lot of the material because of how the class works. There's about 7 of us in there when everyone is present, so it can get awkwardly quiet. Plus my teacher always gets out a can of pop to drink from his mini fridge that I am going to raid one of these days.
Lunch is lunch and is the one thing I look forward to the most. The biggest problem is that my school redid the gym floor and doesnt want it to get ruined. Idk why though, because its going to be ruined eventually. Hello, gym classes and home volleyball/basketball games are a thing. But because of that, they send us outside. When its 80 or something degrees. I wear a jacket all the time. I melt. You get the idea.
AP English is easy, and my entire class is full of friends and stuff (we even have a snapchat group for it and chemistry, since we're all in the same class for both) and honestly it can get to the point I screech or wheeze instead of laugh. It's grossly hilarious. Also, we had summer assignments to do that nobody finished until the last day we could turn it in (August 25th)
We had since May. Nobody did anything until the week of.
Procrastination.
My last class is Post WW2, and I honestly love it and the teacher. He's a crazy hippie and talks all the time about crazy things and his wife Sandy and all that jazz. But, because of that and how little he writes on any boards at all for notes, you have to listen carefully to his diarrhea of the mouth to get the important bits of info for a test or whatnot. We've already had one that was 220 total points. I don't mean to brag, but i got a 209/220. That was the second highest score I think, and was an A. A failing grade was like, a 140/220. Some people got 30/220. Don't ask.
So, that's basically what I have to look forward to for this school year up until May when it ends for summer. I hope I don't die beforehand from any kind of work.
My locker this year is on the bottom floor, and is a top locker. I haven't had one since middle school, so yas. So, once I get my stuff I can go to first period easy. Then I have to walk up two flights of stairs for second. Walk down one for third, none for fourth. For fifth I have to go downstairs. After that I go upstairs for lunch, then downstairs for my stuff for 6th and 7th, then back upstairs for 6th. Then downstairs for seventh, until I get my book bag and go back upstairs for the buses. That is a lot of walking I hate doing. Getting to second wears me out so badly that I start to breathe heavily. Going to my sixth kills me, but not as bad. Going to my bus kills me cause of where it is (like, I don't even want to go there). But basically, I should have probably one of the most disgusting and worst academic years of my high school life right now.
Wooooooo......
Oh lord, help me now.
